Nicolas came to China in 2002, as Marketing Analyst for Orange in Beijing. In 2008 he took on the role of Investment Manager for Orange Capital, which later sponsored Iris Capital, together with Publicis.

  • CooTek, a publisher of TouchPal (, one of the most installed third-party keyboards globally.

Nicolas is no part of the Cathay Capital, a Private Equity firm, with strong ties to both the French market and the Chinese market. He leads the activities of the Cathay Innovation fund in China.

Interested in technology-oriented early- and early-growth-stage companies, particularly in the mobile Internet, SaaS, big data, analytics and IoT sectors.

Alexis Grolin



Alexis, member of the Mulliez Family, joined Creadev in March 2015 to head its investment opportunities in China. He graduated from NEOMA Business Schools and started his career at E&Y Paris in Audit in the strategic and growth market companies sector where he spent 4 years. 

He then joined Bouygues Construction in Paris as a Chargé d’Affaires in their financial engineering department working on both concession and Public Private Partnership projects in emerging markets (Croatia, Slovakia, Kosovo, Jamaica, Bermuda). 

From June 2011 to February 2015 Alexis was heading the Project Finance department for Bouygues Construction entities within Bouygues UK office in London, working on innovative funding solutions both in the student accommodation and housing sector.
